Membership types
According to SPEA's Internal Regulations, there are 7 membership types:

Youth Membership - (12,5€) Portuguese or foreign individuals under the age of 18 on the 1st of January. At age 18, youth memberships are automatically converted into single memberships, in accordance with articles 8, 9 and 10 of the Internal Regulations. ID/Citizen Card and parental authorization are required.

Student Membership - (20€) Portuguese or foreign individual students, aged between 18 and 26 on the 1st of January. Upon loosing the student status, these memberships are automatically converted into single memberships, in accordance with article 8 of the Internal Regulations. ID/Citizen Card and Student Registration Receipt or Card are required.

Single Membership - (25€) Portuguese or foreign individuals over the age of 18.

Family Membership - (35€) Groups of Portuguese or foreign individuals belonging to the same family and living in the same household. Receive only 1 copy of all material sent to members but have otherwise the same benefits, namely the discounts in SPEA's activities, events, shop, etc.

Collective Membership - (75€) Collective legal persons, business or institution, Portuguese or foreign. Receive 4 copies of SPEA's Pardela magazine.

Honorary Membership - Individuals or collective legal persons, Portuguese or foreign, to whom SPEA awards such lifetime status in recognition of their contributions to the conservation of birds, the promotion of ornithology, SPEA itself or its goals.

Benefactor Membership - Individuals or collective legal persons, Portuguese or foreign, to whom SPEA awards such lifetime status in recognition of their sizable material contributions to SPEA, both in estate as well as towards acheiving its goals.
