The Chairman of the General Meeting Board (GMB) convenes all members of the Portuguese Society for the Study of Birds for the Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday 30th March 2021 at 5.30pm, in two locations: the GMB will be based at SPEA’s office at Avenida Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro, nº 87, 3rd floor, in Lisbon, and members will participate by videoconference on Zoom, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The meeting has the following agenda:

  1. Reading and voting of the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting
  2. Presentation and voting of the Annual Report and Accounts for 2020
  3. Persentation and voting of the Plan of Activities and Budget for 2021
  4. Any other business

 

If there is no legal quorum of members present at the appointed time, the General Assembly will meet half an hour later, with any number of members present.

Recording

We ask participants for permission to record the meeting, under the commitment that the recording will only be used for the specific purposes for which it is intended, namely registration of contributions and preparation of the minutes.

 

Requirements

We remind you that according to SPEA’s statutes, in order to take part in the Annual General Meeting, members must have their fees up-to-date. Therefore, if you haven’t yet paid your 2021 fee or if you have pending fees from previous years, you should settle any pending fee payments by 30th March.
